Supporting the vulnerable
Disasters can strike unexpectedly, leaving people feeling vulnerable. In these moments, Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services Volunteers step in to support survivors and reduce feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. From feeding first responders on the scene to offering care and comfort in reception centers, our volunteers are prepared to help in any way needed.
We are proud to assist first responders with hot meals during crises using our fully equipped kitchen trailer and specially trained volunteers. A heartfelt thank you goes to our volunteers whose dedication and readiness make this vital work possible.
