18 Jul When I Consider Your Heavens
The first photos from the James Webb Space Telescope are absolutely awe-inspiring! Every speck is it’s own galaxy, each containing millions of stars and planets.
They reveal an essential element of God’s character: The Creator. It is in His nature to create. He never gets bored of it, His imagination goes on forever.
And yet, YOU are his masterpiece. All the galaxies are dust compared to joy and delight the Father takes in your existence. The wonder of the universe does not reduce your cosmic worth, it exaggerates it.
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor.”
Psalm 8:3-4 NIV
